8x8 currently offer a lower price than RingCentral in most tiers if prospective customers sign-up or get price quotes via WhichVoIP. The advertised price on the 8x8 web-site is however $29.99 per month for the unlimited Virtual Office plan. The 8x8 Virtual Office Pro service which is not listed below, has a list price of $49.99 per month per extension, on the 8x8 website. The Virtual Office Pro is the same service as Virtual Office but adds Internet Faxing, Call Recording and Online Meetings. Don't just look at the per user price though as is important to compare pricing based on the total service package that a business requires and as such include any additional fees for premium features that are required. So keep reading and try to add up all the costs and decide which service is cheaper. This will give you a good idea, but for exact pricing comparison, and to facilitate some negotiation, comparison price quotes are always recommended. - Customer Service:
Although both providers have customer service facilities that are located in the USA, RingCentral has some outsourced support. Outsourcing can be a cost effective solution for some businesses and can often result in better service such as RingCentral being able to offer most customers 24x7 support. - Premium Features:
As you would expect from two industry leading providers, a number of premium features are either included in the base price or available for a small additional fee. RingCentral includes call recording, call queuing, Internet fax and the virtual mailbox feature with its base package while 8x8 charges a small fee.
