Tech support has been great. They have solved many issues we have had, and has always been a source of knowledge for us. Bandwidth.com's service and up time has been great. However, we really need to see that new portal for them to keep our business.

Customer service with this company doesn't exist after 5pm. That old saying you get what you pay for couldn't be more true concerning their overall service.

11/8/2011 it seems the entire switch fell offline. I could not even get through to customer service, i received this number is disconnected after i was already in their IVR and when i selected voice the call either went to fast busy or the recording that the number was no longer in service. Another reviewer was correct in that if their is a billing dispute they turn you off. BUT they do it in the worst way. they are Eastern Time and at 16:45 Eastern they turn off your service and there is not a damn thing you can do about it till the next day. The recording is also the worst as it tells your callers that the number has been disconnected. The least they could do is have a recording announcing a temporary service problem. I have called them several times to assist in rerouting a number and unless you speak to 2 of about 100 people there it will get screwed up. Entire holidays have been routed incorrectly with no one there to resolve the issue. They do suffer voice quality issues in bursts. I will say they are usually very clear using 711 but when they have problems they are severe. 95% of the calls are clear. We have had little blocking or dropped calls from them. They are a respa but beware an 8xx port to them we had just published an 8xx number on a major mailing campaign and then they dropped the ball and it took 3 days longer to port than they promised. When they work they are pretty good, they answer the phone quickly and are nice but i warn you that only a few can accomplish most tasks correctly. After you identify them it things will go better but like I said they were in the tank for over an hour 11/8/2001. could not reach anyone or anything past their IVR and all sip trunks were down.

As the other reviews said customer service sucks. They didn't respond to my email and shut off my phone service even though my billing info was current in their system. It's pathetic that an internet based phone service should require phone calls to resolve simple billing issues. You can't pay your bill online and they don't reply to emails. It's cheap and it shows.
