I've been with Brama Telecom for years. However, when there is a problem good luck reaching someone! I've been charged several times and only after several emails with no luck by phone, the problem was solved. I need to configure my SIP with my new Obi202 ATA instead of my SPA2102, but I'm unable and there is no answer, no response, nothing... It's like that every time I try to contact them. I really don't recommend since service should not be an option.

I definitely do NOT recommend this company. I have been with Brama from the beginning. That time the service was not the best but acceptable for a cost of $9.95. Since they started to hike the prices the service has gone down. And now, there is no service at all. When I call them they play annoying music for 15 minutes and then they just hang up the phone. I can understand the issue/glitch with billing, but they have to communicate with their clients. Lately they are having a constant issue with International phone calls. And I cannot talk to anybody on their side about this issue.

The cost is the lowest out there. The service needs bandwidth, like any voip service. I'm not able to upload or download while using the phone. I've had some billing issues since they put in their new billing system in 2015, to be resolved 3 months later. Customer service consists of a couple individuals who can't handle call volume when system-wide service outages occur. Customer service tries to help though, once you get through. At one point we had to call 911, and 911 service didn't work. It took a while to get that repaired and we are not confident that 911 service will work when we needs to. Also, we've always had problems calling certain local numbers for some reason, the call won't always connect, or the person I'm calling will hear my voice but I won't be able to hear theirs.

A definite YES. I was having second thoughts at first, but still decided I should try. Paying the prices Telus charges just didn't make sense anymore. And Brama really does work perfectly. It's affordable and reliable and I am perfectly happy with it. Finally a provider I can actually rely on!

I did not receive money back from 20th March 2015 for the modem and receiver which I sent back to this company. I talked with a person about this issue and she said that I'll receive money back in two days but nothing. Then next I called the sales person and they said that the lady I spoke with was not responsible for money back requests and said I needed to contact a different person! Ok, I tried to send them multiple emails and left multiple voice messages with no answer. I sent them a message through their website, no answer. Now I cannot get any answer through their website, email or phone. Please do not make any business with them. This company does not know how to do business in Canada.

Jason (April 10th 2015) : I have the exact same issue. I was charged multiple times in one month. I was told I would receive a refund in 3 days which was over 2 weeks ago. No more communication from the person I had contact with since. I used to be able to get someone on the phone to say they would have someone call me back. I can't even get that now. I think they took a lot of money from a lot of people and have now shut the door. I have no phone service as of today (I have not cancelled) and cannot reach anyone.

I am becoming a client of Brama Telecom for the second time. A few years ago the quality of the Internet was not satisfying - it could take ages to load a page. So I went to another provider with higher speed. Last year they pushed the price up and I had to pay incredible bills for the Internet and huge fine for breaking the contract with them. So I went back to Brama and surprisingly their service improved a lot since the last time I used them, and prices are lower. I guess I'll stay with Brama from now on. From my personal experience they are the best option for me.

My credit card was charged 11 times during the last 4 months. I've sent them multiple emails and left multiple voice messages. No answer. I sent them a message through their website and got an email where they apologized and ensured that they've fixed my issue. Immediately after that I was charged 2 additional times. Now I cannot get any answer through their website, email or phone. I've been their customer for the last 5 years, now I am going to cancel my account.

Martin (April 17th 2015) : I am in the same scenario. I have been trying to get in touch with them and nothing. I have been charged 12 months.
Andy (April 30th 2015) : I had to put a freeze on my credit card, as they billed me 8 times in March and 5 time so far this month!
I cancelled my account as it's not worth the hassle for me.

Phone service constantly needs to be rebooted. The billing issues they had also caused several charges to my credit card. Have been fighting for a month to get charges reversed. Have been promised that it will be done that it was scheduled but has not happened. All emails and phone messages have been ignored for over a week now. And I send 2 a day of each. I was able to reach someone by calling sales and they told me I have no credits on my account. The free month I was promised does not show up on my account and the over charges apparently bring me up to date. A week and a half ago I was told I had credits and they were already scheduled to be reimbursed. Now I have no reimbursement and no credit. And no contact from anyone at the company. Unacceptable. I have been a customer for 2 years and could deal with the sub par phone service but the billing issues and total lack of customer care is the last straw. I'm done and will encourage others to stay away from Brama.

I just recently got the TV bundle with 25 Mbps Internet service. I am very happy with the service so far. The price is great. I was paying about 2 times more when I was with Bell. I use to have to restart my TV box from Bell a few times a week. I don't have that problem with Brama service.
