Their VoIP service improved in the last quarter of 2014, and I'd say they are now an 8 out of 10. They moved their customer service to North America.

It is very hard to get service installed! I spent more than 8 hours during the week in order to get it to work. But after that everything is OK! Brama, if you are reading this, hire installers to set up service for customers!

Got Brama recently? Prepare to fight. You will fight for your service, you will fight for your price. I got Brama service in the end of summer last year. The sales person was good, I gave him my credit card in 10 minutes after I called. At that time I didn't know what Brama is, I was not prepared for the service I would receive in the next six months! But right now I'm a good customer with cool service. 1) Installation: They sent a Bell tech who had never heard about Brama Telecom. Shipping was delayed by 5 days! That first time I called their customer support, they don't know anything. By talking with 3 guys I found out that they are out of stock. OK, finally I get my devices, connecting them was not too hard, but my TV was not working. Here we get to the tech support topic. Tech support is... 3 people. Three. Wondering why you were waiting 30 minutes on the line? Hey! There are only 3 people! Anyway, at least they were good. They fixed my TV issues in 10 minutes, after 6 days of waiting. Finally I sat down satisfied in front of the TV when, ready, there were no channels that I ordered =). I decide to save my nerves and write an email. Huh, did you think they called me? No, again 1 hour with customer support to add channels and then again tech support to get them to work! After 2 weeks I got the service I wanted. WIN! 2) First bill: This was $30 more than it should be, because the price given to me by sales was without additional packs for channels I wanted. "Hello it is customer support how can I help you?"... Ok, 1 pack became free and monthly payment went down to $130 (from $150, when promised price was $119.95). 3) Service: It is good. After the nightmare I went through I got what I wanted. IP phone, IP TV and high-speed Internet for fair price. And I didn't call them for months. You know, if you don't need to call them, customer service is not a problem. 4) December until now billing: There was a price increase on December 1st. No service on Christmas and double charge (on the higher price) on the New Year. Really? Happy New Year dear Alex! Guess what they did. They became prepaid. This meant on January 1st you have to pay for December (it used to be a post paid service), and for January (because it is prepay). Talked to a manager on the phone, he told me that he can give 50 Mbps speed for the price of 25, which basically negotiated previous price increase. Do you know what my mistake was? I left my card in my profile after the double payment! How stupid I was! After that everything seemed to go to normal again. I saw the reviews here about the multiple charges and I cancelled my credit card today. Thank you people, your warning saved my money, I hope my warning will save yours. Yes I will recommend Brama to friends, but do not give them your credit card!

I have had no problems with them to date. I signed up 3 month ago. Their support even called me to help to install everything. So far no problems.

STAY AWAY! I have been a customer for 5 years and haven't had issues until now. Since January they have put 7 (5 in March alone) unauthorized charges through my credit card. I've called and haven't been able to get through. Emails are ignored. I've cancelled in writing and over the phone without a response. I've had to report this to my credit card issuer who is taking steps to reverse the charges. The email that was sent to affected customers was poorly written and the issue was explained to be the result of a system conversion. Then it went on to say that physical refunds can not be issued but that a month free would be given. Um...no. I just paid for almost 1 year of services and now you're going to give me a month for free without refunding the 7 unauthorized charges? All this to say that the experience has been frustrating and it's still not resolved. I'm fairly confident that I will be charged again in April on my billing date even though I have cancelled my services. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company. I'm shocked they can get away with such a ridiculous scam.

We are sorry that you became a victim of this mess, and it is sad to read such a review from a customer who was with us for 5 years.

Michael (August 24th 2015) : Same issues, now no tech support either, no answers from any calls. Garbage company in my opinion! Too bad because it was great up until late 2014.

Sufficient good quality services for the average cost. A good provider, speed corresponds, though sometimes there are drops in speed. Shortages of equipment are very rare. When I joined there were minor problems with the payments, but when I called customer support the problem was resolved.

I have Internet and Phone service with them. I have had no problems with their services to date. All works fine for me and surprised at the negative reviews on here. They are better than my previous provider, Bell.

They have a lot of issues with services going out. I lost my television services at 4:30pm this afternoon and got put on hold for 2 hours when I caled them. It is now 10:30pm and still not fixed. Not very happy!

They took four (4) extra payments and now have taken another one to make it five (5). I cancelled in writing their authorisation to charge to the credit card and they still keep charging it. Mastercard wants us to call the fraud squad. Brama won't give the money back but want to keep it as a credit on the account. They said they would stop charging and still put two (2) additional charges through.
