Diallog Telecommunications, founded in 1998 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian owned and operated company that provides business voice and business Internet solutions to small, medium and large businesses, serving almost 10,000 customers across Canada. Voice services include hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, PRI, traditional analog business lines, toll free and long distance solutions. Internet services include DSL, Fiber Optics, MPLS, and T1 solutions.
Diallog are a premium partner of Canada's Tier 1 providers, including Bell, Allstream, Telus, and Rogers. They then leverage their partners networks and repackage them through their billing system and combine their customer service solutions to deliver an exceptional telecom experience. Even though Diallog offer multiple communications solutions, this review will focus on their hosted PBX (VoIP) solution for business. For completeness, Diallog also provide residential phone services and Internet.
The hosted PBX product offering is called PBneXt and is aimed at businesses of all sizes. For those that are new to VoIP, a hosted PBX is a cloud based system where the PBX is fully hosted in Diallog's data center. It provides all the features of traditional phone systems plus more, without the need for any expensive PBX equipment at your business premises. All you need are IP phones that connect to the Internet. This significantly reduces the upfront costs required to get started, as well as removing ongoing maintenace costs.
PBneXt has three main plan offerings, which are Unlimited Local Calling, Unlimited Canada-Wide Calling, and Unlimited Canada and US Calling. There is little in the way of pricing available on the website but it does mention $19.99 per user per month when you sign a 3 year agreement. It is assumed that each plan offering has different price points. Pricing is often adjusted based on number of users and term length of contract (i.e. month to month, 1 year, 3 year contract etc.).
The standard features list includes find me follow me, music on hold, voicemail, voicemail to email, call waiting, call display, call forwarding, call limit security, routing profile/extension security, and a web portal (for service management).
There is no information on their website regarding supported or available IP phones. You would need to contact them directly to find out if your existing phones are supported or if you can purchase new phones through them.
You can contact Diallog by phone using either their local 416 area code phone number or a toll free number. You can also contact them through a form submission if you have specific questions. There is no information on whether support is available 24/7. There is also no knowledgebase or help section for any specific service questions you may have.
The website seems mainly focused on content for marketing the services rather than providing useful information related to the services themselves.
You will need to contact them directly to get any plan pricing for your specific needs or information on available or supported IP phones.
There is a fair usage clause that states you can use up to 2,000 minutes per user extension per month.
Diallog are a well established Canadian owned company that has been in the telecommunications arena for over 20 years. They provide a hosted PBX phone service, as well as other voice and Internet solutions for both business and residential customers.
