FFB VoIP Services, founded in 2008, is located in Kennewick, Washington. There is an indication that they may also have an office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. They specialize in custom VoIP solutions for small businesses and can also provide some additional IT services.
The website details three (3) main plans on offer, the Local VoIP plan, the Toll Free VoIP plan, and the International DIDs plan. A 30 day free trial is available for each plan.
The Local VoIP plan is $19.99 per month per user. There are no minimum seat requirements for this plan and it includes unlimited USA and Canada calling. Other features include voicemail to email, call recording, a customer portal, conferencing, phone purchase or rental options, self installation and 24/7/365 customer support.
The Toll Free VoIP plan is $49.99 per month per user and includes unlimited USA and Canada calling. Similar to the Local VoIP plan there are no minimum seat requirements and it has the same features.
The International DIDs plan is $59.99 per month per user and includes unlimited incoming International calling. They offer service in over 400 International locations (cities/towns). The same features are included in this plan as in the other plans.
A vFax plan (virtual Fax) is available at $14.99 per month and includes unlimited faxing. This is a fax to email service with no installation required. A customer portal is used to send faxes electronically.
Phone rental is available for $13.00 per month per phone. High quality phones are available with HD sound and rental reduces any upfront costs required to switch your business phone service.
All features are included whether you are a 1 person business or 100. Full feature list includes call forwarding, find me/follow me, ring groups, voicemail, auto attendant, call recording, n-way calling, conferencing, music on hold, call park, call transfer, call waiting, call hold, distinctive ringing, do not disturb, call details records (CDRs), and online management portal. The Zoiper Desktop and Mobile Apps are supported for staying connected at home or on the road.
Friendly support staff are available to support your needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A knowledgebase page is available on their website that includes basic instructions on how to use many of the features available through their portal and also some useful basic instructions for making calls, transferring calls, etc.
Most providers include a Terms of Service link on their website, which in turn typically include a Fair Use Policy (also referred to as an Acceptable Use Policy). These are good to check in case there are any specific limits on the service. There was no link that we could find on the website to their Terms of Service. If you decide FFB might be the solution for you we recommend asking them to view these before signing up for service.
There is a link to a VoIP test on their website but the page appears empty. We do recommend running a VoIP test before deciding to move forward with VoIP services.
The phone rental costs seem high and it may be there is only one phone option for renting. The website does mention purchasing phones but there is no indication on the website regarding manufacturer and models, any pricing, or availability through them.
After reviewing FFB VoIP Services we are left with a few questions but overall the pricing for the Local VoIP plan is attractive and the feature list is extensive, along with 24/7/365 customer support. If they end up on your short list then we recommend contacting them to ask some pertinent questions, mainly around Terms of Service and phone hardware.
