Terrible, repeat, terrible customer service. Extremely lacking if you need service in English. In fact, it seemed that they were more focussed on making you sign up for higher/more expensive plans rather than focussing on making the current plan work. Lots of hidden fees including the shipping & handling of the equipment, the fact that they charged 2x months at once rather than once per month (considering it's a monthly plan). Generally speaking, it was obvious the service reps (who were hard to get to on the automated service line) were on commission sales rather than service. They were constantly asking me why I wanted to do something and why I didn't do another more expensive way. When I finally had enough and wished to close the account, I was repeatedly hounded to reconsider, and they completely disregarded the fact that I actually had no further need for the phone service (I was moving AND disconnecting my internet!). I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone!

Their web site is not SSL Secured. That means the information display on your screen is not encrypted across the internet, including your personal information and even your credit card information.

Won't pro-rated the monthly fee when close the account. Customer service keeps talking about their service and not listening to me that I WANT TO CANCEL. Very bad experience.

Buyers BEWARE! The really get you when you try to cancel. THey will insist that you return all the equipment ( even though you have paid for it ) including the packaging, documentation and manuals etc. Voice quality have a echo sound, service is not quite reliable. Do have a lot of nice features though. If you are not proficient with Asian languages, you will have problem seeking help. The English department have very low proficiency.

Overall, italkbb have reliability issues in terms of voice quality and customer service. If you have quality issues, you will have a hard time resolving. If you do not speak good Mandarin and rely on the English department, their level of proficiency is very limited and will have a hard time understanding time. You will hear a lot of echo sound when you use the phone - when you call them talk to your friends. If the phone service and quality is fine, you will be OK. However, if you have issues, it will be hard to get customer service to help you and hard for you to understand. Almost impossible to get a live person to talk to for service issues unless you call the sales lne. The sales line will then have to pass you to a live person. I have since use another VOIP service and sound quality is much much better and the the customer service is US based.

I can basically write a 10-page complains about iTalk BB. After one year land line (for home) service with iTalk I?m so glad that my contract is expired. The poor connections, customer services and unauthorized transfer my phone number to others during the contract just name a few, make me believe this company shouldn?t be in telecommunication business at all. Most of the consumers may not realize that iTalkBB is a Chinese operated company. The operations mainly happened in China. That?s the reason you received phone calls late at night, sometimes really late. I?ve been informed them don?t call me at this crazy hours but it still happens. Please keep in mind, running the telecommunication business in America cannot gear towards to only Chinese consumers. The majority customers are still American speaking English. So iTalkBB has to adapt to the cultures here and provide customers with Western courtesy and management. Train their customer service staff with proper manners, and most important of all, English speaking so people can understand.

Nice talk to get you sign-up for their service. Very bad in customer service. I had vonage before I switch to italkbb simply to save 10.00/mo. The biggest mistake I made. The quality is so bad, echo all the time and the other side could not hear our voice. Call italkbb technical service, they complain about my wireless phone is not compatiable with italkbb device (actually the same model as what vonage provided) and suggest me to change my wireless phone. what a joke. If you are in business to sign-up contract for fun and expect to receive no service, sign-up with italkbb. If you would like to get some level of quality service, try other voip company. I forgot to mentioned, the same date the technician in italkbb suggest me change my wireless phone I switch back to vonage, same wirell phone and circuit(lan), same model of cisco router, the voice just as clear as it can be. I will NEVER use ITALKBB again.
