I'm very satisfied with my phone service. I had some questions about how to keep my phone number and customer service was very helpful. I love the click2call feature. Price is great. No problems or complaints.

You PAY for shipping and setup of account & first month is over $50. Tech support takes at least TWO days to respond by email. Forget trying to call, their tech's are not very experienced at all. Trying to cancel your service, what a pain in the rear. Also if you plan to cancel, they short you since they make you pay in advance, they cut you off the next day, which is against the law since you have legally paid for a service to a certain point, and they do not credit you any of the money back. Bunch of crooks if you ask me!

Having flawless crystal clear service with AT & T Call Vantage has perhaps spoiled me... ITP shipped the ATA quickly. The ATA was defective and dropped service frequently. ITP sent replacement pretty quickly. That ATA has not failed yet however the sound quality is poor. Customer dis-service is available only during weekday business. If you feel you need to talk to service tech you are S.O.L. I am told that you can e-mail them and they will be be johnny on the spot! I e-mailed the porting agreement and supporting docs in PDF format 5 days after receiving the second ATA. ITP lost or failed to acknowledge them. Another week went by and I faxed the pages to them. They then blamed the port problems on AT & T call vantage. The primary ported line came up finally several days ago. Four days later and the primary is still displaying to called persons the "temp" number although I can receive calls on the ported primary number. The second has not ported over yet at all. In fact the second Port on the ATA cannot receive any calls and when you try to dial ANY number from the second port it welcomes you to some company name that has nothing to do with ITP or me. Apparently programmed in from previous dis-satisfied customer return equipment. And finally when I spoke last to ITP about billing; specifically about billing me for two lines while at all times to date I have only had one line of service, they responded with "that is the way we do it. You have a two line agreement" (I still don't have a second line with any phone number). I am over 30 days into this seemingly boiler room like operation. I am going to give then 30 more days and will cut all off if things don't improve dramatically shortly. My hands are tied for thee months too due to the telephone portability issue. If I didn't care about my phone numbers I would have told them to shove it 2 weeks into this.

Came from 5 years with Vonage's Basic 500 minute plan which started at $14.99. Found Vonage great service until I bought a Vista OS computer and had NO Vonage service for 3 MONTHS when Customer Service figured out that I needed an upgraded ATA!. Primary reason for switch to ITP was value. What started out as $14.99 became $17.99 plus surchares/taxes -- a monthly bill of $28.00 PLUS for 500 minutes! ITP can't be beat for price, service & support. My bill is HALF of my Vonage bill for the same 500 minutes. And the "Black List" is GREAT for blocking telemarketers. The only slow process is porting my phone number IN to ITP - but that was the feet dragging of Vonage. (Porting took 3 weeks to the day.) Tip: Change your Network/Power Down phone number to your temporary ITP number, then uplug & packup Vonage equipment ready to ship back. YOU will receive ALL your Vonage phone calls on ITP while the Porting Process is in progress. ITP amazes - and at a fantastic price!

Very Expensive to try........$59 to try. Canceled after 2 weeks. Was charged additional $100 for modem. Modem returned in excellent condition, received by ITP 4 days after I cancelled. Three weeks later........still no refund for modem. Out $159. Now that's great! Make sure you want a long term commitment or avoid like the plague!

I was put out of service during the PORT away from Verizon. Verizon is blaming ITP and ITP is blaming Verizon. I work for AT&T (outside of AT&T local territory) and understand the whole port process. After several calls to folks "in the know" at Verizon, apparently ITP hasn't done their part to "take over" the number. I got a copy of the electronic notification from Verizon to ITP that the line was released to ITP... I've been on the phone with ITP and Verizon all day and it is clearly an ITP issue. They are telling me to "wait overnight and everything will be alright"...Asking for a manager has gotten me nothing. Bad move on my part to rely on a lesser known company.

I ordered this service, took 2 weeks to get it set up. Service never worked, their technical support department had no idea how to fix my issue (phone would not ring on inbound calls) even though on the phone adapter's website (Linksys PAP2) it lists this as a common problem and have simple step by step instructions on how to fix. If I was able to login to the adapter, I could have easily fixed the problem myself. They're on East coast time and close at 6pm Monday through Friday. I live in California and work full time, could never be at home to troubleshoot the problem with them. When I complained enough, the Tech Manager made an appointment to call me after work, he did not call, I waited by the phone for an hour. In addition, he called the next night on the phone that DOESN'T RING. I know only because he left a voicemail, by that point I was tired of playing games with them and paying for service that I never received. They have unreliable service and are only open 9-6 EST Monday through Friday, so if you work for a living, you will never be able to fix your service if it stops working. My issue went on for 2 months with never having service, they wouldn't cancel my account and refund my money till after they "closed" the ticket, so I payed for an extra month of service because of their incompetence. Don't waste your time. DO NOT USE ITP.

I might have recommended this service if it were not for this. I had no idea you have a 5,000 minutes per month limit. Well my son got a new girlfriend. He talked and talked. So when we went over the minutes we got charged extra which was $50. The customer service woman I talked to said billing would look at it and then apply anything left to my bill. Fine. But I look at my bank statement today and was charged another $35 charge! That's and extra $85 for a month of service? Then I was only credited $19 on my bill for next month. $65 for going over on a 5,000 minute limit which was NOT stated when I signed up! Then called back to customer service and this lady wouldn't even LISTEN to me! So just a warning, don't go over on incoming minutes or you WILL get ripped off! I am going to another company that actually listens! Too bad to because I probably would have been with them for years!
