Lingo lied to me when I signed up for World max service that it is unlimited. When I receive high volume disconnection threat I replied back that there is no high volume usage plus I have so called unlimited service anyway!!! When they cannot prove that it is high volume they sum up two months usage to fit their agenda and suspend my service without any prior notice. After 10 email and 15 calls they keep trying to push me to a service where I need to pay per minute usage. Lingo is unethical and dishonest. They suppose to give me one month free when I signed up they did not give me that either. I think someone should file a class action law suit against Lingo and everyone should file a complaint to FCC like me about the mistreating customer and put them in danger by discontinuing service.

It is not only disconnected the service with a funny (their own) region and most damage they made they did not tell us what to do next with their box. No phone and don't know what to do. Customer service is worst and not possible to talk. How in USA the company like that is working is a valid question to raise. Please who ever suffer raise the issue between the difference of promotion and actual service, wasting time with emergency service like phone.

Advertisement says unlimited call but they have disconnected my phone line saying high usages. I probably used it for 500 minutes a month. When I called customer service, they could not explain me why my phone line was disconnected. All they said, it can be reconnected in 24 hours. But it took them three days to reconnect.

Residential Lingo world max plan is not truly unlimited it. Unlimited word is there to scam consumers to signup for their service. If you signup for Lingo World Max plan thinking you are getting unlimited calls you will be cheated. My service was cancelled for using about 1000 minutes in a month. Many are receiving warning mail stating that they are over using and using as a commercial line even though they are just calling their friends and family. If you are thinking about taking Lingo service think twice and read the fine print. They will disconnect if you do not flow their ideal ?single-family residential usage patterns ?(which they do not mention how many minutes- not profitable to them) . That means even 500 minutes can be deemed by Lingo as a non single family usage.

PLEASE do not waste your time trying LINGO. It is not worthed. I switched to Lingo unlimited plan and they have disconnected my home phone saying too much uses. They did not bother notifying me about disconnect. Now I have no phone service at home and I have two kids home. I had VONAGE and it is really reliable. Made a mistake switched to Lingo. NO NO NO to LLINGO

I have been 'trying' to fix my issue with the invoice for the past 2 weeks now. Either they are on voice mail, or they make me wait for at least 30 minutes each time I call. Even if I get to speak with someone I don't get a solution, all I get is a promise for a call back, which never happens. On top of that I find the customer care reps hard to understand and they don't seem to understand me either. This is becoming really frustrating for me and I am thinking of cancelling my almost 2 years old subscription if I don't get a solution today. I hope the management is looking into all this or else they will soon be thrown out of the market by their competitors.

I have had a prior voip but this voip service was the worst i had ever experienced. Customer Serveice and their billing services are very bad. I had lingo for a year, after the year there were no information on rate changing the rate got increase to 3times the original amount and without notice they started charging my credit card. When i called back the responce was even worse. Billing dept did not know how to resolve the issue, i cancelled my service and they still kept on charging my account, when i called they said the will resolve the issue never got resolved after 9 months.

Lingo is a giant ripoff!! I wasted an hour on the phone just trying to fill out an electronic letter of authorization after I was told I didn't need to (during the sales call). I finally got so fed up I canceled the service, it was the only time I spoke to someone who spoke English fluently, all others were in some off-shore call center. Shortly after I canceled, I received an email telling me I had 14 days to return the equipment or I would be charged an additional $100. No discussion or mention of this fee or the short time frame in which to return the equipment was ever mentioned during the sales call or in any of the subsequent support calls I made. Save your money and avoid these bums, they represent the lowest strata of business and aren't worth dealing with.

LINGO IS THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!!! There customer service is so bad, they dont know what they are talking about, they hang up on you, it takes 10 mins to get through to them, they bill incorrectly. ...I have spent hours and hours on the phone trying to sort out problems with them, after 6 weeks I cancelled my service and I am still having loads of problems with them. I am trying to pay the final bill and they wont send it to me and I have been chasing them for 6 weeks. I now have a debt collection agency chasing me!!! DONT GO NEAR THEM IS ALL I CAN SAY!!!
