Switching from a traditional telephone service provider to Nextiva VoIP telephone and fax service was definitely, in my opinion, a great move. We are a small business that ships products worldwide, with 4 voice lines, 1 fax line and an 800-number. The switchover went about as expected. Nextiva tech support was a great help. My only complaint would be the number of times I had to be transferred from one rep. to another, to another. The Cisco 303 IP Phones we purchased seem to work well. The only problem with the hardware, and the whole setup process itself, was the lack of paper documentation that came with the phones, and the difficulty in finding the information you are seeking in Cisco's massive PDF documentation files. Features such as Hunt Group, Auto Attendant, and Voicemail setup were a bit time consuming, but Nextiva support was able to make things go a bit quicker. I have all ready, and will continue, to recommend Nextiva VoIP service to colleagues, customers and vendors!

After switching from a different VoIP Provider whos network failed multiple times, we switched to Nextiva. We were able to move our small office of five phones to Nextiva's Connect 360 plan with no issues. Since being with Nextiva for 3 months, we have not had any outages or any dropped phone calls. This is a huge step up from our previous voip provider.

I have had Nextiva Connect360 SIP Trunking service for 2 full years. In that time, I have had numerous outages with no notification other than customers calling my cell to let me know my service is down or not being able to dial out - some of these have persisted for several hours, twice for days. The tier 1 customer service does an adequate job of fielding calls and running trouble tickets, but generally, are unable to really help or even provide the confirmation that, ?yes, we have a problem and we are trying to resolve it?. I wind up, after I discover I have an issue, contacting customer service, then getting the standard boiler plate "check your connection, reboot, blah, blah" time wasting before they'll actually let on that they are having an issue. This kills what could be productive time otherwise spent. Nextiva is my first VoIP provider and I can confidently say, its cheaper that Ma Bell, but its not better. I maintain two separate high speed internet connections for redundancy (Charter 60m/5m and AT&T 6m/756k) and I can move the VoIP gateway between the two connections by simply switching the LAN cable and rebooting the gateway (3-5 minutes). Even with this redundancy, I still am without phone service from time to time (the exact amount of down time is questionable as I am unaware its down until I discover it myself). An email or some sort of emergency reroute/backup profile at Nextiva would be preferable to the current system. If your business lives or dies by the phone, it pays to consider what sort of options the SIP provider has for when their stuff goes down. They'll all tell you "99.999% up time", but in my experience, and apparently others here, that's just not true. Overall, the features and value are pretty good, but my business runs like a store front over the phone - if you aren't there to answer the call, the customer will call someone else...and its tough to gauge how expensive that really is.

I have three phones in my office and decided to switch to Nextiva after a few companies located in my building had good things to say about them. I have not used the faxing services they offer. I haven't used fax since email was invented. With my entire experience in account and using phones day in and day out for exactly a year, I would recommend them to other businesses that need service.

I give them 5s for almost each option. My experience with Nextiva has been great. I share my opinion so others know how a company performs and I appreciate it when other users do the same. I've used their phone and fax service for nearly a year. Everything has been smooth which is quite rare when it comes to me and technology. Nextiva has some of the best customer service around. I'd put them up there with the Four Seasons hotel. There have been certain processes I've experienced with Nextiva that I have since incorporated into my own business. The best process being the proactive approach towards customer service. Nextiva calls and emails me out of the blue to check on how I'm doing with the service. After my first run with this, I hired someone to do a similar customer followup. While most companies like to let go of the customer as soon as they get the sale, Nextiva cares. My business will be with them for the long run.

1 month start up and the bugs continue and no one responds long enough to help. they tweak a fix and depart, soon after something else goes wrong and must wait another week for response
