I used Nextiva for nearly a month and I was impressed with their services. I did not have the opportunity to stay with them because I sold my business immediately after the switch and I will use them when I launch my next project. The service was better than Frontier's that I had been paying for for 8 years and they refunded every penny I gave them since I canceled. I have been impressed and therefore had to write a kind note.

My recommendation would just depend. We use the phone to make sales calls, perform web demos and take service calls. We use 4 extensions - we often have cutting out, garble, echo during calls - and the phone periodically does not work when we call an 800# and dial an extension, and definitely cannot use when entering a conference call code such as go to meeting. We use a land line phone for anything "important"...it's stressful to use the voip service if the call is important. We've tried calling support and purchased an expensive router as recommended by Nextiva in July 2011 - we are now at the end of Sept 2011 and nothing has helped. When we call Nextiva, they tell me to reboot the system/router/etc...seriously, how often can you do that when you are running a business??? The tech guys are really helpful with redirecting the router to prioritize the phone and that helped with cutting out but it's still garble, echo and cutting out sometimes. Keep a landline and consider using cell phones - they are much, much more reliable!

Thumbs up. I have been paying for this service since May and recommend it. Works well.

Each support rep gives a different story about why their service won't work, your router is unsupported, you need to bridge your gateway, you need to upgrade the firmware on all the phones, etc. No reference is ever given to continue resolving a problem. One support rep did not ask for the Security Pin on two separate calls, which gives you and idea of the security you get with them. I had to call back, to escalate the security issue with a supervisor, and he sounded very indifferent. STAY AWAY FROM NEXTIVA for your own good.

Probably doesn't include the features that others may have based on the research I've done however Nextiva works perfectly. My VOIP provider before this was with Vonage and I've found Nextiva to be better in nearly every aspect. Especially the call clarity. Vonage was a true nightmare. There would be times that callers couldn't hear what I was saying. All together I've been pleased with nextiva and I'd recommend.

I have not been able to receive local call for over a month and they can figgure out how to fix it. I hope i can stay in business long enough to change to another provider.

Nextiva was not my first run with a VoIP company. Before using nextiva, I tried using vonage. I canceled vonage a week after signing up because I didn't realize that I'd need 4 telephone adapters to make their service work in my office. Since vonage is made for home phone service, I started searching for business phone companies and chose Nextiva. Nearly every experience I've had with Nextiva has been great. Their techs are smart and not outsourced like Vonage. The phones were not tough to setup. Probably since I bought them from Nextiva instead of amazon. I use Polycom phones.... The model is 331. Nextiva is very good to use.

This isn't as great as first thought, but it is good. We are likely going to save money, and the ability to change anything on the fly through the website is great. There have been mysterious dropouts and a couple of weird incidents, but overall it is OK. We have been using the hosted version with 4 users on DSL. Calls ext. to ext. are the worst. It seems the calls from farthest away are the clearest?? Why I don't know? You cannot talk while the other peraon is talking, but this is rude anyway.

I have been happy with the phone service. I'm paying around a hundred $ each month. Phone service doesn't get me excited but it's a good deal.
