Nextiva is a very good provider for phone service. I use them in our office and at home. From the perspective of a client that has been using Nextiva since 2008, there is no doubt that they are the best phone company for small businesses. I recommend using their automated attendant greeting and the after hours messaging. My office has different greetings based on the time of day and nextiva records all of our messaging for free. Whenever someone in my office has a question we call the nextiva support line and the answer the phone very fast. They are a grade A company.

I have been using Nextiva since the beginning of the year. I moved 4 phone numbers and my fax line to them and have had a great experience. The service with Nextiva costs me $130 each month compared to the $280 I was paying with Qwest. Not only have I saved money but the entire experience and phone system has been better. Switching the numbers and getting setup was simple. I have had my husband setup Nextiva for his office as well. I fully recommend them for phones and faxing.

Nextiva has been a good phone company so far. I have not used the faxing as some people have pointed out. I just send emails instead, I like how calls forward to my cell phone if I am out of the office. For people looking into phone systems; I think Nextiva is a good solution.

I am writing this testimonial of Nextiva for a few reasons, but the primary reason is because I've been so happy with the service. The quality level of technical help they provide along with the quality of phone service has kept me a fan of their service for two years. They deserve more than 5 stars considering the impact on my business. I have gotten much more than what I have paid for.

It was a little bumpy at the start hammering out details and nuisances with Nextiva customer service, however once this was accomplished and properly in place we're good to go. We're a small company working out of our first office and Nextiva was a good fit from a pricepoint and had all the features we needed in a VOIP.

I would recommend Nextiva for phone service. I started using them as a backup line in case our Speakeasy line would go out. After too many instances of Speakeasy going down we decided to move the entire boat over to Nextiva. Moving everything over wasn't a challenging process. Things are great with Nextiva right now.

The features that they offer are very good. I simply chose Nextiva because they did not have any service contracts to commit to and since my business is new, I cannot predict where my business will stand in two years from now. The customer service was helpful in getting me started. If you are looking for a new phone company I would recommend Nextiva.

There is a mistake on the description on the website. It states that additional lines (extensions) are $9.99/mo but it is incorrect. This heavily factored into my decision in addition to all the good reviews but probably should be corrected.

This is a follow-up to the June 14, 2010 review and rating. Because of what has been uncovered by NEXTIVA I now DO recommend them. Once the Nextiva tech started digging into their carrier to determine why certain calls were getting a disconnect message, they spent several hours working and arguing with Verizon (prior landline provider) and eventually convinced Verizon that they still had traces of my phone number in their switch system. Once those traces were removed, the problem was fixed. I believe that Verizon was at fault, perhaps to sabotage VOIP transitions. I still did not like that I had to be an increasingly squeaky wheel for two months before tech-support seem to take the problem seriously.
