I work for an audit firm that has 5 locations and 180 employees. I'm the IT manager and have been with the firm for over a year. I inherited a Shoretel phone system that's managed on prem and lousy. Management of the phones are frustrating and it's tough for me to make a case to management on a new phone system when they've heavily invested in this thing. But aside from my work with the audit firm, I manage networks and information technology for a variety of companies in the Portland area. All my clients use Nextiva. While I highly recommend Nextiva, my clients immediately see the benefits of Nextiva. The service is stellar from the standpoint of pricing, features and old fashioned value. Considering the companies I consult for are in all types of industries and their employee sizes are from 5 to 60, it's safe to say Nextiva is the best option for small businesses. Plus they've stood the test of time for me.

Nextiva has been critical in our recent initiatives to create a completely paperless workforce. This has resulted in a substantial cost saving for us. Their Fax system not only provides a streamlined workforce without using paper, but it is also accessible from home. Nextiva's pricing is extremely competitive, too. We are already planning to use some more of Nextiva's products.

Our Company has been using Nextiva for the last year and had no issues what so ever. What we mostly like about them is that they provide a single phone system that can be used across all our business locations and covers all our mobile employees. I am happy to recommend Nextiva and we hope we can use their service for years to come.

Going into detail and fully describing why Nextiva is the best solution for my business isn't something I'll do. It'll take lots of time. However, flat out, Nextiva is the best phone company. I don't know many people that are actually happy with their phone service in general. Companies like AT&T and Verizon have destroyed our perception. But Nextiva is a breath of fresh air. They really stand out in every positive way. It works, they add new features, the price doesn't change, and the customer service is kind. As a paying customer for two years, I am happy with Nextiva.

I can't count on one hand the number of companies I work with that I'm consistently happy with the level of service. Nextiva shines. Great - and I mean great - phone service. The service is reliable and packed with helpful features. Just this week I called them in order to setup my automated attendant greeting for the Thanksgiving holiday. No only did they show me how to do it, but they recorded a new greeting for me so I don't have to use my voice on the company system. Not going with them sooner was my loss.

I'd like to make the people on this site aware of the extremely wonderful help that I always receive when I contact Nextiva. Whenever I place a call to them, my call is answered immediately and they answer my questions thoroughly and with a smile. Everyone is always quick to complain when they are not happy with the help and services provided, well I would like to THANK Nextiva for always providing an excellent service.

I signed up on Friday afternoon after spending the entire morning talking to and researching providers. The 5 phones I ordered arrived to my office yesterday (Saturday). I called their help line to get everything setup and all the phones were working in under an hour. They delivered on what they promised and that's something I don't see as much these days. This is why I'm writing the review. My phone service is running the way I want and there should be smooth sailing tomorrow morning when my employees get back into the office. Of course my time with Nextiva has been short but so far it has been excellent. Go Nextiva!

Better than the big phone companies

It's not a big name phone company like AT&T and Verizon but it's a phone company the others should be modeling themselves after. I'm not one to write about companies I work with but this is one exception that's worth it. First and most importantly, the service lines actually work. Next, when I call their 800 number they answer quickly and they are interested in helping me out. The people I talk to over there don't sound like the untrained, rude, and unfriendly people at the big phone companies. I feel like Nextiva knows I'm a customer that's paying them and I'm someone they care about. Not an inconvenience. But I won't make this about the big name phone companies and the problems they need to figure out. A trait that is rare to find in our world of using phone companies is a standard monthly bill. I've used Nextiva since March (when I moved offices) and I have not seen one of our bills be different from the previous month. Month after month after month I continue to pay the same amount. Plus there's one benefit of Nextiva that most people may not notice or think about. It's something that I didn't think much of before I signed up with them. There are no contracts. No annual commitments I'm forced to make. If they continue doing what they're doing, I can't see why I would want to cancel. However if the time comes to where they do a 180 degree turn, I can switch away from them in a heart beat. As a business owner, the one thing that stands out to me is why isn't Nextiva thrown in the same pool and talked about as much as the big name phone companies. From my perspective they are making a powerful impact and I see them as the future of phone companies. I do wish I knew about them before I signed my contract with Verizon in 2011. But considering what I know now, I will not be leaving. If Nextiva reads this, you guys rock and I want to let you guys know that I'm very thankful! If a customer of another phone company reads this, make the switch to Nextiva's service. You will be happy you did.

Picking the phone service was not an easy decision. The price and reviews are what drove me to signup with Nextiva. Changing from our pbx system to them was a seamless process and the phones from Nextiva arrived the next day even though I chose ground shipping. Call quality is perfect. I don't see any reason why a business should not be using them for phone service. Based on everything I've see and used with their service it's highly customizable and seems applicable to businesses of all types. I even have one of my office phones setup in my house and I work from home as if I'm in my office. As I mentioned it was not an easy decision picking them for the phone service but it has definitely proven to be the correct decision. On a typical business day we receive anywhere from 300-450 calls and Nextiva supports us all the way.
