The pro's are that we needed a screening service during after hours (5pm- 9am). We needed to weed out unnecessary calls and the auto attendant feature is great for that. They also offer a fax service called VFAX. On May 6, 2013, Nextiva completely changed their fax system. When I called to find out what happened, their support team had no idea about the new fax online system change, and of course they were not trained on it. The support person said they would call me back when they found out how to operate the new system. Of course that never happened. May 6, is a Monday and Monday's are crucial to us because that's when we receive all of our faxed invoices from our independent contractors. Now here we are today, MONDAY, July 15, 2013 and once again, the fax system is down. When you call our fax line, you either get a busy signal or it say's the line is disconnected. REALLY?!?! I was on hold for 30 min trying to reach their support team and never got through. On June 19, the whole Nextiva System went down across the country. Our phones did not start working until 5:17PM. Nextiva had no explanation. Unfortunately, we ran our TV ads that week and our $500 TV commercial aired that day and we could not even receive phone calls. Every time we run our TV Commercial, our phones ring off the hook. On this particular day, potential clients could not even get through to us. So we asked that they refund the $500 and of course they said, "NO".

Nextiva's really good. I use their service in all of my offices. The phones came ready to go and the setup process was easy for my team. Coming from a Mitel system, this has been far better.

Between May and July I have spent over 10 hours with IT. They fix one thing, and 3 more things go wrong. Was told our phone was broke (NIC) was out. We did a factory reset and reprogrammed the phone and it works now. We had to replace our phone back in May with the same issue. We are still waiting for a manager to call us back to discuss all our phone issues. We have yet to hear from someone. Today it's been going on 3 hours and I've had to call them 3 times. On hold with them right now.

The people at Nextiva are nice. However, their system is horrible. There's always something wrong. I have had to contact the people at Nextiva more so than any other telecommunication company in my entire life. They told me that their system is reliable and unfortunately there is nothing reliable about the quality of the experience. The worst think is that their system was down and my callers/clients and potential clients were getting a message that our number was not in service (???????!!!!). I contacted the company and they were not able to at MINIMUM forward my lines to my cellphone. This is absolutely the worst experience ever. We just arrive and are looking for the door. Stay away.

Really poor customer service, sat on hold for 10mins while the dude had a personal conversation with his coworker. Guess he thought I was on mute! 22mins later I fixed my own problem with no help from them.

After doing much research, I choose to sign on with Nextiva to consolidate my business phone lines and efaxing. I was so excited to switch over, as the cost was much cheaper and I read some good reviews online. However, I definitely got what I paid for. I now spend most of my days calling them to troubleshoot my phone lines or because efaxing is not working. I have only been with them a little over a month and I am over this company. The efaxing- which is extremely important in my line of business, is down for over a week now. And every day I am given another ETA. They initially told me that the problems would be fixed within hours... we are now on day 8!!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone!!! I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER WISH MY EXPERIENCE ON ANYONE!!!!

Took a very long time to set up the system (2 hours on phone just to install the adapter for my analog phones), then it took several calls to get just the basic features working. Always prompt and courteous customer service, just seemed like it should have been easier to set up and get running.

The VOIP service has be exceptional. It is a GREAT value for the money. I chose VOIP for the ability to have two lines, long distance, keep our current numbers and many other great features. The only thing I was not pleased with was the quality of the phone for the price I paid for it. Other than that all is great.

As an existing customer of Nextiva and a long time AT&T call center manager, I have to say how terrific Nextiva is. Every representative that I talk to is technically knowledgeable and incredibly kind. Finding people that have engineering knowledge with great customer service skills, are not easy. In fact I used to struggle with this challenge every day. Nextiva's staff is great.
