My service has been down for 2 days after they offered to make an adjustment remotely to the Grandstream adapter they provided. It was functioning, but had some delays. Now its completely dysfunctional - no calling out, no calling in. Their tech support is a JOKE. Only available by chat and they indicate you are # of # in the queue...it decrements to 1 and then after 10-15 minutes they bounce you and indicate they are sorry they couldn't connect to to Tech support and suggest sending an email...which by the way is apparently never answered. Sadly the features are great and the quality is good - until you have a problem - then LOOK OUT! BE VERY CAUTIOUS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP FOR THIS SERVICE.

I ordered the service on a Monday, and received the adapter on Thursday. That was phenomenal. Plugged the adapter to the internet, and ran into a problem getting a dial tone. Contacted technical support to resolve the issue. The first representative told me that all the lights are working so there was nothing else he could do. I just had to wait until the adapter finished downloading. I waited about 5 hours and still couldn't get a dial tone. I contacted technical support again, and the representative told me that someone would call me back. The next day I called once more and got a very knowledgeable representative who got the phone service working within 20 minutes. The service is very, very clear. You cannot tell the different between the voip service and an actual landline. I can certainly understand some of the frustrations others have expressed on this site. It is frustrating when you receive something and you can't use it right away. My advice for those who are unhappy is to really check the speed of your internet. The internet has to be a certain speed in order for this service to work. When you contact technical support and you don't get the answers you need the first time, try calling back and getting a different representative. It appears that some of the representatives are still learning and are afraid to ask for assistance or let on that they are learning. Once you are working, the service is great.

I have had this service for two years and have never had any problems. The call quality is always clear. The features included in the plan plus the extra cloned line make this service hard to beat. I would definitely recomend and I am renewing my contract for another two years.

This is one of the best VOIP providers I have used. Crystal clear connections. The few times I had to call them they were able to help instantly. I have had them for over 2 years now and will not switch. Keep up the great work.

Seeing as how with any of my old phone providers I would avoid contacting them at all costs due to how hard it was to get a hold of someone, let alone someone I could understand, one of the biggest reasons I went with Phone Power is that I could call, chat, or email them and get U.S. Support. Since I've signed up they have always responded promptly. They have an abundance of features and very competitive prices. I didn't even think you could get service like this for these prices. I'm on the $16.95 plan, but will be making a longer commitment when my plan expires. I think I've finally found the provider I will be sticking with for a very long time.

The service worked so well with my residential line that I decided to switch over the phones at the business I run as well. The money that decision is saving me is astounding. There is no reason to pay astronomical prices for business lines when Phone Power work just as well for that too! I can conference call, have call waiting, hold, and can have the call ring multiple numbers in case I'm not in. If we outgrow the residential/small business features down the line then I'll updrade to the larger business plans with the auto attendant.

My brother got me into this service since he had just renewed for his third year with Phone Power. I figured if he could be happy with them for that long then it was worth a shot. I'm glad I did because I got away from my pricey land line bill each month and even got a couple extra features I never had before like the cloned second line or the voicemail to email. We ended up getting it for my parents as well so the whole family is now happy Phone Power users!

Apart from the all incredible featured on their website, you can use it to send/receive physical fax messages and also you can connect PhonePower to your Alarmsystem. Second cloned line is blessed for these purposes. First two year is absolutely worthy for the price they offer. Then costwise it is still better than competition.

the first year was great so I pre paid another year. Three months in I started to get a 3-4 second delay when talking. Then calls tarted going straight to voicmail even though you answered. I tried calling customer service and could not call out. Then the nightmare began. Icalled from my cell, was told to unplug the router, I'd already tried that, then a strenght test was done and next I had mi Internet provider come out and check my cable connection. No problems found. after unplugging the router six our seven times I was able to get a dial tone again. Called customer service and they dely startyed, since it was so bad, they had me call back on my cell then, after about a half an hour, the genius tells me there is no problem with the service, no problem, so why am I speaking to you on my cell phone at your request? No comment. When I asked who the president of Phone Power was he wouldn't tell me. When I asked for the name of the top person in the organization that I could talk to I was told to email the general manager. Two months later and still no phone. DO NOT GET ENVOLVED WITH THIS GROUP, IMO YOU WILL GET TAKEN JUST LIKE I DID.

International rates are same or lower as the calling card I was using, which was also at good rates, but with this I get 60 free minutes monthly as well.
