I recently signed up with Phone Power after i spent the last year with Via Talk. I just didn't have that good of an experience. I wasn't interested in spending as much money as Vonage was charging so i trusted the reviews for Phone power. Set up was fine... had a little issue with my connection at the beginning, but talked with the support team and they helped me do a little reconfiguring. Everything else has been great. There are a ton of features, sound is clear and the price is fantastic. I gave it a 4 on reliability only because i haven't been with the company long enough to give them a 5... I guess I will have to re-visit this in a couple months. Overall... I'm happy.

I have had outgoing service for a week and full service after porting for 5 days. Setup was fairly simple as was hooking the adapter to my home internal wiring. After some minor tweaking call quality is easily as good as AT&T was but with more features. Support has been amazing both online and via email. Support calls are answered quickly and if the initial person cannot help it is quickly escalated to the next tier. Service is prompt and courteous. The technicians truly know their stuff. The phonepower website is excellent. Their FAQ section and support answer almost all the questions without even having to call. This has been a pleasureable experience. I wish product quality and support were equivalent other companies I have dealt with.

I am suprised since I left Vonage and went to Phone Power 4 months ago I was nervous never hearing anything about phone power that I may have been sorry. But I was having so much problems with Vonage from poor sound quality, caller ID issues, and dropped calls it was crazy. Then trying to call tech support good luck talking to over seas foregion people. I am very pleased with my service with Phone Power, and am very glad I made the switch. For never hearing of them before I am impressed with the sound quality. It's great, the features are great, and work well for me, and I love the line cloneing. I can still have an open line for me while the kids blab on the other phone, and I don't need to pay for a 2nd line like I did with Vonage. So it's cheaper, which is saving me money, and everything works better than Vonage did. I am impressed with Phone Power, and would strongly recomend Phone Power to any of my friends that would be considering VOIP Service.

I just changed from Vonage and it works great for phone calls. HOWEVER, beware that Phone Power does NOT support outgoing fax. So stay away if you need this.

I saw the advertisement on amazon. I had been looking for a cheaper alternative to my land line. I work in sales and call the east coast quite a bit. The unlimited calls to US really caught my eye. It's worked out great for work. Support was nice on the phone. It's been a great experience so far. My daughter really likes the 2nd Line.

Was with Vonage... found a better deal. The guy at Best Buy recommended this. Sound quality is good. Features are solid. Paid up front for the 2 year plan. Great deal. Travel adapter is really cool. Set up was easy. It's been 2 months and no complaints. It was nice to actually get good advice from the Best buy people.

I was looking to save some cash over the next year and got the 2yr plan. I was a little confused at the beginning because I hadn't had a Voip system before. The staff was nice. They helped get me set up at home. The sound quality is great. Better than I expected and the features are a bonus. Love the price.

Just started using VoIP and went with phone power because it had the best reviews. Use the unlimited plan, it's like 15 bucks a month and really clear.

Want to warn EVERYONE who is planning on using PBX Phone systems, external answering machines and such. PhonePower adaptor does not provide a CPC tone. Istead it provides a busy signal upo disconnection. It means that your phone systems or answering machine will continue running and recording, or keeping the line OFF HOOK. Absolutely terrible! The adaptor is capable of being made adjusted..., however, tech support refuses to make such adjustments! Same goes for adding a ONE before number when caller ID information is passed. One of the largest carriers such as Verizon, stripps the ONE off. Again, if you use PBX Caller ID forwarding, it might create a problem since an extra digit introduced in the number. Again, that feature could be fixed locally in the adaptor, the company refuses to make any modifications. It is torture for me because I have other providers that come into my PBX and no ability to modify caller ID table for separate lines. SO it messes automatic caller ID transfer at least for one line. BEFWARE! Previous provider Broadvox (went out of business) accommodated my set-up perfectly! Other than that, the service is very decent.
