The most Horrible customer service ever!

This is the worst company ever, they prey on the elderly, tell them their service is part of AT&T and they need to change over because the Internet is taking over and you will lose your landline, it will be cheaper too. My 89 year old mother made the change and has had nothing but problems since. Sometimes your phone won't ring, just go straight to voicemail, but when she tries to pick up her voicemail they say her PIN number is wrong, so she can't get her messages. She decided to change over to another company and now RingPlanet won't give the new company any information to make the change and they won't give her phone number back that she has had for over 20 years. I tried calling them myself but the girl at customer service wouldn't even let me talk, she would just talk over me, then when I got upset and ask her to stop being so rude and let me talk she hung up on me. Do not use this company for your home or business.

They misled my neighbor who allowed them to take his AT&T phone number. The service was not working so he decided to go back to AT&T service. We have had to start all over and create a new service with AT&T for his phone number, the problem is retrieving the phone number that he has had for +60 years from Ringplanet. AT&T needs the account # and Pin #. Ringplanet provided information but it's not working and they are extremely rude and not helpful. I have yet to resolve this and they don't care and I have been hung up on twice. I'm sure we'll get it resolved but it has been very frustrating. Make sure to ask all questions before switching over to another phone service. It's not easy to go back to an old service unless you're willing to change your phone number.

These scammers keep calling every single day and sometimes 3 x per day. They have asked for several people that no longer work for our company, but they still keep calling and are very persistent even after you tell them "we are not interested" they keep calling. I was reading the reviews and these reviews sound about right.

These predators prey on elderly - scaring them about losing their AT&T service and then hassling them, calling every day until they choose their service. These people are evil and their practices should be better regulated. I don't know how anyone at this company can sleep at night. Evil.

They say they are AT&T but they aren't, they give you a low price then jack it up with fee's and taxes. They are one of the most untruthful companies I have ever done business with. As soon as my agreement is up I will be done with them. I would not recommend this company to anyone I know.

Totally rude customer service! Once they've got your phone number, the ugly service begins. Customer representatives (three different people) talk down to you and will instantly argue with you. No time for this BS! Goodbye!

This is a digital phone service so if the weather is bad or the towers go down you have no service. They do not have 24 hour customer service, based out of California, they are not friendly and will not help you at all! I will never use this company again. Had I known it was a digital service i would have never switched. Elderly people are just out of luck if they need a phone and this company could not care less!

This company called my elderly mother in law to switch HER phone service, but asked for me. When she repeatedly told them she was NOT me, she was badgered to switch anyway and was sent a package she was told she HAD to take, again with MY name on it. After many times of refusing service from these people, I received a bill, in MY name for the mother in laws phone service at a place I do NOT reside. When I called customer service, the lady on the line screamed at me that I had authorized it. Every time I tried to explain I didn't authorize anything and never spoke to anyone regarding long phone service, she kept screaming over me that I had authorized it. THIS COMPANY SUCKS AND THEY ARE TRYING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE ELDERLY. Someone seriously needs to adjust some business practices. These people should be ashamed of themselves. From the lying salesperson who badgered and scared a sweet old lady into taking something she didn't want, to the hateful stupid woman in customer service, these people are awful.

Charged us after we CANCELLED THE ACCOUNT. Was hung up on 5 times trying to talk about the bill. Conveniently disconnected after I gave credit card information.

DO NOT use this company. They lied to get our business and then messed up our phone lines. The VOIP system never worked and we could NEVER get in touch with anyone. When we did finally get in touch with someone they couldn't help or give answers. Just always said they would call back and NEVER DID. WE cancelled multiple times, but they continued to bill us even though we switched our phones back. Now they want us to pay 3k for services we never used. This is the biggest scam I've ever seen and we are reporting them to the consumer services and the federal trade commission because we know we can't be the only ones. You can't deny people a right to cancel and then continue to bill them when they have asked to be let out of a contract. What con artists.
