Let me just say this: I tried to get on the Internet to find a number to call to disconnect our service and the Internet was down. This is the worst Internet connection I have ever had. My husband uses it to play Xbox live and he spent days upon days troubleshooting our connection problems with both Microsoft and Verizon. Verizon kept blaming it on Microsoft so finally my husband got Microsoft and Verizon on a conference call and Verizon admitted it may be their modem. They agreed to send a new, upgraded modem since we had already had the same model replaced twice and upgraded our service twice since it wouldn't work. We got the new modem in the mail in a few days, but they sent us the SAME EXACT ONE. Even the Microsoft tech couldn't believe it. Anyway, I'm having to type this from my phone since the Internet at my house hasn't worked all day. We are scheduled to be disconnected Friday and I couldn't be happier. We have been stuck with them for two years because I signed a contract with them. I would never ever recommend Verizon Internet.

Holy cow, I will never order or recommend Verizon to anyone. Worked 6 days after initial install and hasn't worked for the past week. Very disappointed. They sent a new router cause "that might be the issue" obviously did nothing but provided me with false hope. Please avoid at all cost, customer service is about as helpful as I am and o know nothing about internet connections.

When I ordered I was given a date and time for insulation and was told they could have someone come in and hook it up for me. When the day came I was woken up by a phone call saying my service was on but no one was here to hook it up so I called and was told that there was a charge for a technician to install it. I have a mental Diabilityb which makes it difficult for me to perform tasks such as this and I explained to the customer service representative this is why we had scheduled for someone to do it ( they had never even sent the router or equipment the technician was supposed to bring them ). She would not even listen and did not even try to understand she would not let me speak to a supervisor but transferred me to technical support ( to trouble shoot the equipment I did not have )Technical support told me the same but did transfer me to a superviser who did say he could have a technician come out at no charge however he would not honor the original day and time ( which was that day, the day I had taken off work ) I could not take the day he proposed off so I asked to cancel it took over an hour ( to be exact 1 hour and 8 mintutes )for me to be transferred to someone that could do that. I felt like Verizon was trying to take advantage of me and they treated me like I was stupid, I may have a disability but that does not make me stupid I do remember promises made to me and expect them to be kept just as they would be kept to someone without a disability. They seemed to think that since I had a disability I would for some reason pay them for services which I was unable to get. I DO NOT TRUST VERIZON AND WOULD NOT RECOMEND THEM TO ANY ONE!

20hours spent on the phone for issues. Repair techs came to the house 4 times. Verizon will not give out a direct phone number to by pass first line tech support that cannot speak English. 155 times disconnected in less than a month and more when I was not here or asleep. No resolution for 4 months except that we are working on you problem and that you are not the only one experiencing the issue. The system worked for a year without any changes on our end now it was a constant battle to get through to someone that would only say we are going to put in a trouble ticket. I was called today saying they have resolved the issue and if I had further problems to call the first line again. I was dropped 8 times after they left that message and cannot contact the ones that sent the message. Put in an order for Charter Internet today supposedly 10 times faster than Verizon but if I am at least connected is 100 times faster than Verizon.

My internet keeps disconnecting like every five minutes and even while I was writing this the it kept connecting and disconnecting. At first it didn't do this, I don't know what changed.

Unbelievably bad service. Double billing. Hours and hours and hours on the phone; every contact means starting over; no sense of an actual updated customer database. Apparent resolution of problem immediately followed by recurrence of same problem again. Horrific.

Terrible customer service. No one knew what they are talking and there was 0 cordination among different departments. the representatives kept on contradicting each other. Couldn't put the service in place even after 5 days of ordering. cancelled it even before first use.

We signed up for verizon phone and DSL. worked great for 6 months. then suddenly the internet would stop working if we had a phone call coming in. so we had a to turn the modem off and on every time. called verizon several times. they changed the filters, changed settings but nothing worked. then verizon asked us to pay for repairs if they send somebody. customer service was very insensitive and blunt. one of them seemed to have no intention to help. Finally we switched when verizon wouldnt even call back when we had to leave a message on the customer service VM.

Verizon's jet Pack wireless Internet service is fast and reliable. Switch from the horrible service and high cost of Wildblue. So happy now!!!

Since Oct 2008, I've had nothing but trouble with Verizon DSL & landline Phone. Have had 2 problems with the phone line, both times they said it was my devices, wires. It wasn't! Now, after 7 days w/o a phone, they say the "repair is complete." It isn't ! . . . . As to the DSL Internet, for over 2 years, on the first of every month & for days afterward, we couldn't send out emails - even to Verizon customers! Out of 41 months with Verizon, I've had to call 15 times on billing problems (overcharging - ignoring their "bundle" fees, or misinforming me about the terms), & 31 + times for various internet problems. - & - I only started noting down my calls after the first year! (again, the problem is Always mine, my Mac, my wires, modem, etc. - but Never theirs! Yet - they - kept fixing the problems, after at least 2 - 5 hours working with me.) I am Now without a phone, & looking on line, for one that's reliable, without heafty costs, & good service. WHERE to go? don't know yet.
