VoicePulse sets the standard IMHO. I Left Vonage over a year ago and no looking back... Best value for your dollar period, when I need a phone it works; simple as that. US Based customer support is proactive to review any questions/concerns I have ever had, and I am saving almost $200 per year versus my former Vonage Plan. Smooth porting process and did I mention that there advanced filtering services have helped me reduce my unwanted telemarketer calls by 98%

I have been a voicepulse customer fot years, why I don't know. I guess i was too lazy to change. They have the worst quality EVER!! I have been a customer close to 5 years, terrible quality, and on my last call I asked for a supervisor and I was switched to another tech. I do not recommend! I will soon be changing service!

My company was almost about to give up on VoIP and then we found VoicePulse. Service has been most reliable of any provider I have worked with and support teams pro-active follow-up approach is refreshing. Switching to VoicePulse has finally made VoIP a viable option for us and by losing our legacy PRI and Analog lines we are now savings thousands. Use their VoicePulse Local Unlimited for my home. More filters and call forwarding options than you can imagine and only $15 a month for there unlimited plan everything included $16 total. VoicePulse also just added YouMail functionality. Thanks to VoicePulse saving hundreds at home now to!

False advertisement, they claims that all incomming calls are free, but they called me and said 2000 minutes that I spend is too much and I have to go somewhere else. If they have limits on incoming calls then PUT IN ON THE WEB SITE, and loose most of the business, because who will want to deal with a company who has limits on incoming, when plenty of companies who does true unlimited. The idea with unlimited calls is like in food buffet, that with some clients you loose and with most clients you win. VoicePulse only wants to win. My point is if I knew that this would happen, I would NEVER EVER dealt with voicepulse. So new clients STAY AWAY from VOICE PULSE

I've had Voicepulse for just over 5 years. Being an early adopter, I knew there would be some bumps in the road. Over the years the service has improved to where it is now something I don't even think about, it's a reliable phone line, that works as well as a land line would. I've kept an eye on the market, and tried other services like Vonage, and to date, none of them offer the features that Voicepulse does. I don't know how I could live without the filter/forward features that keep me from being bothered by nuisance calls, while letting others reach me no matter where I am. I have a work apartment on the west coast, while I live on the east coast. I have a local number at each location, and they both ring on both coasts. And my friends and family even forward to my cell when I'm not at either home. I have a link to the Voicepulse page right on my desktop, which anytime I get a call I don't want again, I quickly open my Voicepulse filter settings and make sure that number never bothers me again. The list has grown over time so it's rare I ever get nuisance calls anymore. Being able to just answer my phone without having to look at caller-id is a real luxury these days.

No recent ratings? Time to add mine. Over two years with VoicePulse. Extremely satisfied. Finally created a "White List" where only those on the list can call through and everyone else goes to voicemail. No more telemarketers (I'm on the DNC list), no more political calls, no more 'charities'. When a legit caller goes to vm, I get an email with their number and can easily add them to my White List. Now, when the phone rings, I know it's someone I want to talk to. Peace.

I Researched VoIP Services Extensively For 3 Weeks Online, Two Years Ago Prior To Selecting The VoicePulse Service! All Arrows Kept Leading Back To VoicePulse. Their Excellent Rating In PC Magazine Was Just One Of The Factors That Lead Me To Finally Choose VoicePulse For My Service! Following Two Years Of Service, I Must Say I've Been Very Pleased! Is Their Service Perfect? No, But No VoIP Service Is At This Juncture! These Services Are Still Evolving! That Said, I've Not Encountered An Issue They Could Not Resolve Quickly! The Plan I Chose Is Perfect For My Needs! Presently, I Have Very Little Need For Long Distance, So The 200 Minutes Or 3 Hours Long Distance I Get Monthly Exceeds My Needs And For A Total Of $15.89 Including Taxes, Can't Be Beat!!! My Extended Local Calling Covers 99% Of What Was Long Distance When I Subscribed To AT&T Or Southwestern Bell! Plus, My Relatives I Call For Free, Can Also Call Me For Free For A Small Monthly Charge Of Just $4.99! They Or I Can Pay For A Virtual Number To Be Assigned To Their Area Code. If People You Call Are In The Same Area Code You Only Need Pay For The One Virtual Number! They Have A Super Local & Unlimited Long Distance Package For Only $24.95! Something That Many People Do Not Know About How To Get The Best Bang For Your Buck, Using A VoIP Service, Is In The Instance Of AT&T/Southwestern Bell, Bell South Etc. Is You Have To Request Something From Them Called A Measured Line!! This Is Key, Otherwise Your Not Going To Realize Your Full Savings Potential! A Measured Line From SBC In My Area Is $5.80 But, Of Course Like All The Services Provided By SBC You Have To Add In All The So Called Taxes And Fees To This Number! Therefore, A $5.80 Measured Line Actually Cost $15.80! That's The Traditional Phone Company For You! Then Of Course You Have To Add In Your Cost Of Your DSL Service Which You Probably Already Have! I Pay SBC A Total Of $44.96, Plus The $15.89 To VoicePulse For A Total Of $60.85 Per Month!! No, It's Not The Same Cost As The Good Old Days But, I Was Paying SBC $125.80 Per Month! Now, I Did Have Unlimited Long Distance, Which I Did Not Need! However, I Have More Features With VoicePulse; Way More! I Like The VoicePulse Service So Well I'm Now In The Process Of Adding A Second Line To My System For My 85 Year Old Mother!! My Mother Is Currently Paying For Unlimited Local Service With Caller ID And Call Waiting, $44.98 Per Month! No Long Distance! Now, I'm Doing Something A Little Special For Her Line, That I Think Is Very Neat!! I'm Porting Her Phone Number She's Owned For More Than 50 Years To VoicePulse, As My Mother Insist On Continuing To Maintain Ownership Of Her Number However, She Gets A Lot Of Telemarketing And Other Unwanted Calls After Having A Number For This Long Period Of Time! Through VoicePulse, I'm Able To Obtain A Soft Number (New Number) That Will Ring Her Current Number However, Her Current Number If Dialed Can Have One Of Several Messages Ie. Line Unavailable, Line

We've used VoicePulse for two years. For the first year it was fine, with occasional interruptions in service. For the past year, it has been absolutely horrible. Phone service is unavailable more often than it is available. Calls are dropped, there are odd sounds during calls, and there are frequently complete interruptions in service (for hours or days at a time). You must call each time and the customer "service" employees (who couldn't care less about your interruption in service) usually tell you your service is working. When I make them test it by calling me, then finally admit that it is not working. Often I can make outgoing calls, but can't receive calls (so I don't know that people can't reach me). Callers will get a message saying my line isn't in service (when it IS...or should be, considering I am paying for phone service). Or, the opposite will happen and I can't make a call at all. There is almost always a delay in connecting, and often we will hear no "ring" on the receiving phone. The person we've called will just answer after a long silence, which is disconcerting. I think this company has taken a turn for the worse and would STRONGLY discourage someone from considering them!!

Sometimes there is a noticeable delay between off-hook and dial-tone. If you try to dial too early the call will NOT go thru. Also, had some (routing?) problems several days in a row, but all were solved within an hour or so. I also had Vonage, and was less happy. SunRocket was great while it lasted :)
