I was told it would cost $9.00 plus change per month. Actual cost: Over $18 per month. I am moving and need to cancel or put on hold. Hold cost $6 per month for 6 months. To cancel they want $80 plus. This company is, in my opinion, real slime. Don't do business with them if you can help it.

I have recommended Vonage to many of my friends but I'm not sure if any them ever took advantage of my suggestion. IMO, Vonage needs to accelerate it's advertising program.

You get what you need presented logically with simple, easy to use format. Nice to be consistently provided excellent service at a great low price. Truly a lot of bang for the money.

I was thrilled to change my phone service to this company for $9.99 a month for a year. However, a few months after I signed on to the company, my bill jumped up to $18.64 per month. Wow, who knew taxes and services fees could double your bill? What a total scam. I also could not enable the features that came with the service. I have worked in video production and am pretty savvy about how to enable these features. However, Vonage features are not user friendly. My advice: Run from this company. They are not as they represent themselves.

We have been with Vonage almost 10 years and have never had any problems the service people did not quickly solve.

In particular I like your services when we're away for four and one half months. The e-mail notification of a voice mail message makes it easy to retrieve the message without having to check our phone daily. The e- mail notification when we're at home is also a good feature.

Wow! I have been with Vonage since June 2002, it is finally time to part ways. When I started, customer service was answered in N.J., service and the entire experience was great! Then as the founder backed away from the company the service quality went down, call quality dropped, and all calls are answered over in India or some non-English speaking place that could care less if you remained a customer or not. You often cannot hear the caller or they can't hear you. Telephone never rings goes straight to voice mail. Spend hours on the phone with (what they call) technical support, and they could not paint a barn over in India or whatever country they send you too. Would not choose Vonage ever again.

I have been with them since 2006 and they were very helpful when setting up. The first time I signed up I had trouble. I called them and this lady came on the phone and I told her what was going on. She helped me do a diagnostic test. We spent two hours working on it and she fixed it.

I would recommend this service to anyone, you cannot beat it. My wife talks to her sisters every day in Great Britain.
