So you guys got hacked. Understandable and happens to everyone. That said your services have been affected for 4 days and counting and the updates look as follows: during the day - no phone service and we are investigating. At night - phones are working, issue is resolved. And round and round it goes. A DDOS is based on a bunch of third party devices that in turn overload your infrastructure. So if these third parties decide to pack it in for the night and either go offline or shut off their equipment, the amount of DDOS traffic will decrease and your tech team will consider the issue resolved. However most of these people will wake up in the morning, turn on their stuff and you can start investigating again. I just don't understand one thing: with so many good jobs available at Amazon and recycling centers and shortage of truck drivers we currently have in the country, why do people that are completely in capable of working in technology insist on doing just that?

Can't talk to a real person at all. Chat Bot doesn't understand normal questions. Chat is about as useful as a flat tire. IF you can find (I found it by accident once or twice) a chat with a person, they are very limited in aiding and may not fully understand your normal questions, either. Call the toll free CS line and every extension refers you to the website to do your own searches. They obviously think your time is not valuable. Once the salesman is done selling you the service package, his promise of "call me anytime" translates to "lose my number". I think it would be a good system if they ever get real *QUALIFIED* people to answer the phone who would be TRAINED to guide you through any issues you might have. Have also spent hours on the phone with the Vonage Support Plus (paid extra for it) and they have not been trained to handle issues with this system either.

The nightmare begins with my call to the sales department and they said that they were compatible and my existing phones were compatible as well. Well, they didn't ask but we were using Windows 7 and they only work with Windows 10. Big question the sales guy failed to ask. Plus, my phones were not compatible as they said they would be. We didn't know until the day we were going to go live with Vonage and nothing. We had gone through the process to transfer all our numbers over and now we were without phones for two months. However, they continued to auto withdrawal their payment despite calling them multiple times to stop. I had to cancel my card to finally get it to stop. Presently they sent me to collections despite never giving me working phones. My advice is to never consider the company for any service. They lack knowledge to ask proper questions to see if they will work and if they don't, then they will take your money for ever and send you over to collections. Not professional at all!

What a rip-off! I can't believe how this company treats its customers. I was with them for about a year using several different numbers. I had to call in about once a week for technical support because something wasn't working right. I finally found a company to switch to that I tested and worked with 0 issues and I started the port process and then canceled the account before the billing cycle renewed. They sent me a bill for the following month and to this day say I still owe them money. It doesn't matter I constantly had problems, it doesn't matter their service didn't work well or the apps. I still owe them money for not using their service. I would not use them again if someone paid me to do so. Horrible!

The features are great! If the company could just get their act together relating to service, they would have a wonderful product offering. I was a customer for 12 years and could not get my system straight for months.

Once they add you to the system they do not provide support. I tried to call multiple times and sign on. Neither worked. Finally I called sales as a new client and asked how I could get support. She wanted me to fill out some long form and they would get back to me? What...I needed help and they would call me back? I'm planning to move my service as despite wonderful features they do not provide support on the product.

Dishonest and manipulative. My company has suffered greatly with Vonage. They cannot provide the service they promise, and yet they demand thousands of dollars to escape their contract. Their salespeople will tell you that contracts are not ironclad, and then they enslave you with a mediocre product. They have limited modem compatibility. Their staff is unable to maintain the services they promise. Their support App is unstable. You would be better off with a 1950's landline than with Vonage VoIP.

Rip off! Feel so violated and ripped off! Vonage did not offer voicemail transcription and charged over two years. Now, they said they cannot provide credit since we are now calling. Is this good business practice? The money goes to top executives and taking from their customers. Stay away! Run!

I would like a manager to contact me from Vonage. I recently set up services with Vonage representative Matthew. Our account number is 315###. I am disgusted with the service I am getting from the Vonage rep. I spent a great deal of time comparing Vonage to Nextiva and decided to go with Matt (Vonage). Matthew assured us he "would not disappear after the sale" as we needed him to help us with a few things getting started. We have called, and texted him, numerous times since the completion of our sale. There has been zero follow up from him. However, he had no problem contacting 3, 4, or 5 times a day leading up to the sale. This lack of services runs rampant in our country and I'm sick of it. I have reached out to Vonage 6+ times since. Every single time, I am on hold for 20+ minutes and get nowhere. I've emailed them 3 times and keep getting emails directing me to more numbers that have me on hold again for 10+ minutes...resulting in again...sending me somewhere else. Vonage is a frustrating company with disgusting customer service. It's highly recommended you do you homework and choose a competitor. Vonage will not be seamless...waste of time and money. Buyer beware this is a horrible company to deal with. Call the customer service number before you buy and enter that you are an existing customer. You will wait on hold 30 minutes to get a person who does not care to resolve your issues. Call and enter a new client sale and they will pick up in under two minutes. This is a complete Ponzi Scheme!
