Vonix have four available plans, which are the Standard plan, the Pro plan, the Premium plan, and a Custom plan option. All plans have the option of monthly billing or a discounted rate for annual billing. All pricing does not include taxes and fees.
For features all plans include unlimited calling to US and Canada, the ability to port your existing phone number, a web management portal, voicemail to email, music on hold, call waiting, follow me/find me, auto attendant, outbound caller ID, call park, day/night mode, paging/intercom, prepend caller ID, and call analytics. Each plan then includes specific features. Additional local numbers are available for $3.00 per month and Toll Free DIDs (phone numbers) are available for $7.00 per month.
The Standard plan is the cheapest plan at $19.99 per user per month for annual billing or $24.99 per user per month for monthly billing. This plan is recommended for businesses with 1 to 5 phone users and for those businesses that need basic features with self installation and setup. With this plan you get to choose whether you use desk phones or their Mobile Softphone App option. Other features included are business texting, phone/email support, and call analytics and reporting.
The Pro plan is $29.99 per user per month for annual billing, or $33.99 per user per month for monthly billing. This plan is described as best for 5+ phone users and their most popular plan. It includes white-glove installation and network support, as well as in-person training and all the features included with the Standard plan. With this plan you get the option to use both desk phones and the mobile Softphone App. You also get the option to use the desktop Softphone Application (includes click-to-call functionality) for an additional $5 per month. Additional features included with this plan are priority support (phone/email), voicemail to text, an eFax account, custom buttons and BLF, holiday greetings, and searchable call detail records (CDRs).
The Premium plan is $43.99 per user per month for annual billing or $49.99 per user per month for monthly billing. This plan is also recommended as best suited to 5+ phone users and is dubbed the "everything" plan. It includes the Flex messaging platform, team chat, and click-to-listen call recordings alongside CDRs. This plan includes all the features of the Standard and Pro plans plus 24/7 priority support and onsite assistance, area code matching, custom analytics dashboard, professional voice recordings, and interactive voice response (IVR).
A Custom plan option is available which is aimed at Enterprise and Call Centers. They can customize a plan based on your exact needs, including business specific integrations and features.
Based on the website hardware section they support various Polycom IP phone models at various prices. You can buy the phones outright or lease them with prices ranging from $6 to $16 per phone per month. Models displayed on their website are the VVX150, VVX250, VVX350, VVX450, VVX501, VVX601, VVX D230 cordless, and IP5000 and IP6000 conference phones. They also have two Plantronics headsets listed, the CS510 and the CS540, both very popular headsets. Based on their FAQ they do support Polycom, Cisco, Grandstream and Yealink phones.
There appears to be no support section on their website. This may mean they have a specific link for customers only for a knowledgebase and user guides. Phone and email support is included for all plans. If you want 24/7 priority support then consider the Premium plan. There is a VoIP network test page on their website so you can check out how VoIP ready your business network is. It utilizes the very good Ookla Speedtest application.
Annual billing is a nice option to save some money but we always recommend monthly billing in case you need to move providers in the future, rather than being locked into a service for a one year term.
With respect to Fair Use Policy, if Vonix decides that you are using unlimited voice services for other than uninterrupted dialog, Vonix may, at its sole and absolute discretion, terminate your service or change your plan to one with no unlimited usage components. Vonix will provide notice that it intends to take the above action and you will have the option to terminate the Agreement.
In the event that you cancel a service order prior to installation of services, you will be billed a termination fee equal to one month of service.
The website does not include any knowledgebase or help guides.
Vonix provide a good selection of plans with different price points that will suit most small to medium sized businesses, including options for onsite white-glove installations. Some providers give pricing breaks based on number of users but Vonix pricing is the same per user for any size business. Pricing breaks are available for annual billing which can save you some money if you are happy to lock in to a longer term.
Overall we would recommend Vonix, particularly for those businesses in the Orange County Florida area that would prefer onsite installation help.
